I have always had a love of pets. Reptiles, rodents, cats, or dogs. It didn’t really matter. If they needed me to care for them, I was ready. My first Iguana was named Iggy. We were incredibly bonded. Iggy would even crawl into bed at night to cuddle with me.
After losing Iggy to old age, I spent many years without another Iguana. While I loved Iggy, as I grew, and became busy with school, then work, I found that I wouldn’t have the time to dedicate to an Iguana. And Iguanas, just like any other animal, need time.
As of June 2015, I was able to add Iguanas back into my life. The journey back into being a reptile owner is an exciting one and I am looking forward to sharing it here.
My new Iguanas: (names TBD…do you have any suggestions?)
